Dr. Sundrani studied at India’s premier medical school before continuing his post-graduate training in Chicago where he was a recipient of the Clinical Skills & Scholarship Award for two consecutive years.  A specialist in interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular disease, Dr. Sundrani devoted his final two years of training to the use of stents and balloon angioplasty.  Being able to treat vascular disease with minimal invasive techniques for the benefit of patients is what he now finds most fulfilling. “There’s an art to healing and an incredible satisfaction in getting someone well.”

Dr. Sundrani strongly believes in getting newer technology to the Central Valley so that patients don’t have to travel out of town. He was the first one to do carotid stent procedures in the Central Valley.  He, with his colleagues, are also instrumental in bringing to the valley lead extraction for infected or malfunctioning pacemaker / defibrillator leads, smallest implanted heart pump for heart failure patients (LVAD), as well as replacing aortic valve without open heart surgery (TAVR) procedure.
