Holter/Event monitor
It is a small portable medical device that continuously monitors the heart rate and rhythm. It is generally used to evaluate various abnormalities in heart rhythm as well as symptoms like palpitations, dizziness or fainting. The Holter device is generally worn for 1-2 days while event monitor can be worn for several weeks.
