Angioplasty
This is done in conjunction with an angiogram. It involves treating narrowing in the artery or vein using a balloon and/or stent. Balloon is used to immediately relieve in narrowing by inflating it within the artery or vein to its profile. The stent is like a spring tube which keeps the artery or vein from collapsing down.
