Amanda Tymn, FNP-C

Amanda was born and raised Fresno, CA. In 2003 she graduated from Fresno State with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. Shortly after graduation she began the nursing program at Fresno State, and in 2006 graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Upon graduation she moved with her husband to Indianapolis, IN and participated in a RN ICU residency program at Indiana University Medical Center. For two years she was a nurse in the Surgical ICU caring for critically ill patients following liver, kidney, pancreas, and bowel transplant surgeries. After two years in the Midwest she relocated back to Fresno where she worked in the Medical/Surgical ICU at Saint Agnes Medical Center. In 2010 Amanda was accepted into the Master of Science in Nursing program at Fresno State. While pursuing her graduate education she worked in the Quality Resources Department at Saint Agnes, collecting data for the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and monitoring the outcome of all open-heart surgery patients at the facility.

In May 2013 she graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In July 2013 she began working with Dr. Donald Gregory, and finally saw her dream to practice as a Nurse Practitioner come true. Amanda is licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of California and nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
